Pay: $50.00- $60.00 per hour based on experience
Per Diem: loading provided
Hours: 40
Schedule: 8:00 am- 5:00 pm

Duration: 3+ months

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled plumber with over 5 years of experience, specifically in lead service line detection and related tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience using lead detection equipment and be comfortable with desktop analytics and predictive software to catalog pipe types, including copper. Responsibilities include buried lead pipe detection, meter detection, temporary disconnections, pressure testing, and the installation of testing equipment and probes.

Responsibilities:

Utilize technology to detect lead service lines in areas where predictive software identifies the pipe as copper.

Conduct buried lead pipe detection, meter detection, and temporary disconnections as needed.

Perform pressure testing and install testing equipment, including probes.

Work with 3/4" copper lines and dowels.

Maintain accurate notes and work effectively within a team environment.

Track and manage inspection data using handheld tablets and basic computer applications.

Working in a residential environment.

Qualifications:

5+ years of plumbing experience, with a focus on lead detection and copper pipe handling.

Proficiency with basic computer skills and data entry on handheld tablets.

Strong note-taking abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Background check and drug screen required.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with predictive software and desktop analytics.

Experience with testing equipment installation and operation.
