Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in heavy equipment operation. This role involves operating various types of machinery, including but not limited to loaders, backhoes, and bulldozers, to support construction and maintenance projects. The Equipment Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Duties
Operate heavy equipment such as water trucks, cranes, loaders, backhoes, and bulldozers for various construction tasks.
Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Build and maintain structures as required by project specifications.
Dig trenches and perform excavation tasks safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols.
Monitor equipment performance and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation is essential.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Proficiency in operating loaders, backhoes, cranes, water trucks, and bulldozers.
Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks as needed.
A valid driver's license may be required based on job location.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31.69 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
