Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in carpentry and a strong understanding of the construction and restoration industry. This role requires proficiency in various carpentry tasks, including installation, trim carpentry, and masonry work. The Journeyperson Carpenter will be responsible for executing high-quality craftsmanship while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.

Duties
Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks, including framing, installation, and restoration of structures.
Execute trim carpentry work with precision, ensuring all finishes meet quality standards.
Assemble and install cabinetry, doors, windows, and other fixtures as required.
Conduct construction estimating to determine project material needs and timelines.
Apply caulking and sealants to ensure proper insulation and weatherproofing.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Engage in tile laying as part of flooring or wall installations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements

Proven experience as a carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency in construction estimating techniques.
Knowledge of caulking methods and materials.
Familiarity with the restoration industry practices is highly desirable.
Ability to assemble various structures with attention to detail.
Experience in masonry work is a plus.
Strong skills in trim carpentry, ensuring high-quality finishes on all projects.
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks safely.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.31 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
