We seek an experienced Field Technician who replaces or repairs mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical components of industrial control assemblies and electro-mechanical equipment in both field service and shop settings.

What You Will Be Responsible For In This Position:

Troubleshoots and tests electro-mechanical equipment using various methods and testing equipment. Follows company procedures for requisitioning and charging materials and parts. Verifies repairs using various start-up testing procedures. Operates specialized equipment including but not limited to: laser alignment equipment, portable balancing equipment, megohmeter, clamp-on ammeters, various kinds of hand-held power and non-power tools, etc. Observes all safety procedures and uses proper protective gear (especially respiratory, eye and ear protection), in accordance with E/B B30501(current revision). Basic understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
Skills

We Seek A Candidate With the Following Background:

A minimum of 3 years’ experience troubleshooting and tests electro-mechanical equipment using various methods and testing equipment as described above. Experienced in verifying repairs using various start-up testing procedures. Preferred level of education/experience: High School diploma plus some higher school, trade school, vocational/technical school, military, or on-the-job machine shop training. proven ability to understand, perform and retain various skill-related training and operational and safety procedures demonstrated by supervisor.

This is a first shift position (6:30am – 3pm (Monday-Friday) with ample opportunity for overtime (after 8-hour shift).
