Job description

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welders to join our team for a 3 - 6 month project in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. The Pipe Welder will work closely with other team members to deliver high-quality results while adhering to safety standards. Minimum of 50 - 60 hours per week.

Duties:

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine specifications for welding projects.
Perform welding using various techniques
Ensure proper alignment, fit-up, and plumb of pipes during installation.
Utilize hand tools and welding equipment effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
Conduct inspections of completed welds using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Pipe Welder or in a similar role within the welding industry.
Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics related to piping systems.
Strong knowledge of welding techniques with experience welding black pipe and stainless pipe
A valid Pipe Welding certificate is required!
Must have own tools and PPE for the trade
Reliable transportation and ability to show up on time each day for work
OSHA 10 certification is preferred

This is a W-2 position with weekly pay. Hourly compensation is based upon experience.
