360X Staffing is hiring for Ship Fitters for a Shipyard in Palatka, FL. Must have experience working in a shipyard.

Job Description:
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of steel structures.
Measure and mark steel materials for cutting, shaping, and assembly according to specifications.
Cut, grind, weld, and fabricate steel components using various tools and equipment.
Assemble and fit steel components using bolts, screws, or welding techniques.
Align and position steel structures or materials to ensure proper fit and adherence to design specifications.
Inspect and test completed steel structures for quality and accuracy.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other tradespeople to ensure project timelines and requirements are met.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with steel materials.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a steel fitter, steel fabricator, or metalworker.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Skilled in using tools such as grinders, welders, cutting torches, and other hand/power tools.
Knowledge of welding techniques and metal fabrication processes.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and assembly.
Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
Certification in welding, steel fabrication, or related field is a plus.
