Position Summary
The aluminum bus Welder’s duty is to follow strict standards and procedures while assembling, installing, It is the Welder’s responsibility to ensure that hangers, valves and support structures are properly installed and maintained while on the job. The Welder must be proficient in reading blueprints. The job of a Tube Welder is physically demanding as it requires the ability to work in various bodily positions. Because the Welder’s job is a dangerous one, he/she must practice safe work habits on a day-to-day basis.
Essential Functions
Study blueprints and other diagrams to devise welding plans
Clean, prepare and install tubes with various fittings and weld joints
Use hand and/or power tools to remove slag and other defects when needed
Use knowledge of metallurgy to evaluate the task at hand and determine the appropriate equipment, tools, and welding techniques to implement
Position Qualifications
Must be certified in aluminum welding MIG or TIG 6G
Implementing work tasks within a work team
Measuring and calculating
Problem-solving, troubleshooting, and maintenance reasoning
Communicating with supervisor and team members
Recognizing and correcting job site hazards
Making judgments and decisions at task level

Plan work and select proper tools.

Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
*Per Diem is available for days worked*
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour depends on experience
Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
