360X Staffing is hiring for CNC Machinists and CNC Programmers for a Full Time position in High Bridge, NJ.

CNC Machinist position, you will be responsible for complex machining tasks, setup, and operation of CNC and manual machines. This role requires a level of expertise in machining processes, problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior machinists.
Daily Functions:
- Operating manual, semi-automated, or automated tools and machinery e.g., lathes, grinders
- Utilize advanced precision tools and instruments, such as micrometers and CMMs, for precise measurements
- Configure tooling and offsets accurately, including setup and adjustments for new and existing jobs
- Perform minor program adjustments for speed, feed, and cutting depth
- Perform routine maintenance on machines, ensuring optimal performance and longevity
What is needed:
- Advanced proficiency in shop math, including trigonometry, fractions, decimals and geometric dimensioning
- Knowledgeable in reading GD&T
- A basic knowledge of part holding and deburr methods and tools
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Advanced troubleshooting skills to identify and address complex machining issues

CNC programmer, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical blueprints, inputting the design specifications, adjusting the machine cutting paths, and performing quality checks on the final product. You may also be required to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Daily functions will include:
CNC programming for lathes and milling machines using Mastercam
They will be both programming and operating CNC Machines as needed
Work closely with Tool Design and Manufacturing personnel to plan tooling designs
Align and code steps for tool operations, speed feeds and work piece positions to conform to operational sequences
Analyze blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD models to determine the sequence of machine operations, cutting tools and feed rates
What we are needing:
US Citizenship
3-5 years of experience in CNC programming and operations
Mastercam experience
Mechanical aptitude and use of significant mathematical skills
