Certified Welding Inspector - Power plant project work

• Fill out MBIC packages
• CWI cert
• Capable of doing dye penetrant testing (DPI); liquid penetrant (looking for weld deficiencies)
• Power Generation experience preferred
• ASME experience is very helpful (gold standard for welding applications)
• ASME section 1 = set of guideline and regulation for the design, construction, installation, operation, and maintenance of power boilers
• ASME B31.1 = code written for power piping systems, covering fuel gas and oil system in the plant, central and district heating systems, in addition to the water and steam systems in power plants.
• ASME B31.3 = code that provides the contractor with design, materials, fabrication, and inspection requirement and criteria for process piping

Additional Information:
• Per diem = $100/day; days worked
• Hours: 6/10s
• Duration: Project through December with potential opportunity to extend
• Hours: 630am-530pm
