[Nuclear Engineer] Nuclear Safety Specialist (Hybrid/Telework Option) - Oak Ridge - 8770

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Nuclear Safety Specialist opportunity in Oak Ridge, TN.

Work in the Oak Ridge office is preferred but hybrid/telework arrangements are available.

Scope of Work:
Perform reviews of various contractor criticality safety programs.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, physics, or related field.
10 years of experience at Oak Ridge Sites.
15 years in the development, review, and implementation of safety basis documentation for nuclear and non-nuclear facilities.
Prepared and performed 15 documented reviews of Safety Basis Documentation.
Experience as a Lead Reviewer (see DOE-STD-1104-2009).
Training on DOE standards and guides for implementation of nuclear safety management programs in accordance with 10 CFR 830 (including safe harbor methodologies, Technical Safety Requirements, and Unreviewed Safety Questions Processes).
DOE Q Clearance.
