Instrument Technician needed for Gas Processing Plant in southern Illinois. Project Duration: 3 months, Hours: 60 / week. Per Diem: $150 / day (7 days)) Pay Rate: $42.00/hr.

Requirements:
•Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and replace process instruments
•Perform field calibration of electronic instruments such as transmitters, controllers, transducers, and valves
•Must have knowledge of various types of pressure, flow, temperature and level simulators and calibration equipment
•Must be able to complete field calibration documents
•Must be able to use electrical test equipment including V.O.M., AMP meter and 1000-volt insulation resistance tester
•Run ¼” to ½” tubing, if required
•Must have Associate's degree in Instrumentation or equal vocational certification
•Minimum of 5 years industrial experience
•Must have basic hand tools
•Must be able to travel
•Must be able to pass background check to secure TWIC card
•Must have approved ID and reliable transportation
•Must pass drug and alcohol test

Physical Requirements:
•Standard requirements - Bending, squatting, climbing, stooping, twisting, reaching, working at elevated heights will be required occasionally
•Lifting objects 50 pound maximum and carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds
•Must be able to work outside in extreme temperatures
