Licensed Journeymen Electricians needed for Gas Plant Projects in and around the Houston, TX area. Project Duration: Full time, Hours: (typically) 40 � 60 per week. Per Diem: $150/day Pay Rate: $32-$35, Benefits: health insurance, 401K, to receive journeymen pay electricians must have State license or NCCER Plus otherwise pay will be based on experience. Responsibilities:
�Must be able to work overtime and weekends if required (typically no Sunday work)
�Must be able to install all sizes of rigid conduit, plastibond conduit, PVC and cable tray; install and terminate lights, switches, disconnects, junction boxes, panels, MCC, switchgear, instruments and various electrical devices
�Install explosion proof fittings as required in classified areas
�Pull electrical cable and wire in conduit and cable tray
�Read and interpret electrical drawings
�Equipment operator, run tubing, or welding experience a plus
Requirements:
�Minimum of 7 years industrial experience for licensed journeymen
�Must have basic hand tools
�Must be able to travel
�Must be able to get TWIC card and pass background check
�Must have approved ID and reliable transportation
�Must pass drug and alcohol test
Physical Requirements:
�Standard requirements - Bending, squatting, climbing, stooping, twisting, reaching, working at elevated heights will be required occasionally
�Lifting up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds
�Must be able to work outside in extreme temperatures
