360X Staffing is hiring for structural steel fitters with at least 1 year experience working in a fabrication or shipyard facility. Must have prior experience.

This position is responsible for steel fitting equipment, parts, interiors and exteriors of ships, and shipyard buildings. Fitters need to be able to use a cutting torch. You will need to show they can cut a 90 degree angle on 3/4" steel with a torch and also a 22 degree bevel. Fitters will also need to have basic 7018 stick welding skills and pass a 2F and 3F fillet weld on carbon steel plate. They will 3 run, single pass, 4" beads (basic tack welding) on carbon steel plate. Ideal candidates will have around 1 year of experience 7018 stick welding and heavy steel work.

Per Diem - $100 a day
