Journeyman Electricians 20-30 Openings
Phoenix, Gilbert, Mesa and outside of Phoenix, Arizona
Full-Time Position
Compensation: $35-39/hr. + $140/day per diem + full benefits
Company Profile:
Booming electrical subcontractor is adding 20-30 Journeyman Electricians to join their Arizona team for immediate openings all over the state of Arizona supporting industrial, mission-critical and water/wastewater new construction projects. These are immediate, full-time openings working 50+ hours per week (overtime over 50 hours optional) with years of backlogs.
Journeyman Electrician Job Duties:
Direct electrical construction work for assigned projects.
Ensure professional resolution of escalated field-related issues and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with Field Leadership to maintain project flow and schedule.
Enforce all NEC local codes and stay up to date on industry changes.
Interprets drawings, sketches, software, plans and determines best work procedures, tools, equipment needed to troubleshoot and repair problems.
Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit; weld supports; install cable and duct banks; make terminations.
Installs control and distribution apparatus and fastens in place.
Test and start up systems and continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components by testing and starting up systems.
Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
May be required to pull wire through conduit; connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment.
Disassembles and repairs defective electrical equipment or systems.
Operate electrical and mechanical hand tools, power, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical tools.
Qualifications:
5+ years of working knowledge of electrical construction experience.
Proficient knowledge and compliance with all NEC and OSHA safety standards.
Possess strong expertise in all aspects of trade-related materials, components, equipment, systems, methods of installation, safety procedures, safe work practices, trade-related calculations, blueprint and drawing interpretation, and troubleshooting.
Ability to lift 50 pounds, unassisted, frequently throughout the day.
Ability to work from various heights via ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and other safe work platforms and area.
Able to work a 40-hour work week, with overtime and off-hour shifts as required.
Able to work in extreme weather conditions and elements, indoor or outdoor, including heat, cold, rain, mud, dust, and snow depending on the job location.
OSHA-10 Certification card preferred.
