Mechanical Superintendent
Full job description
The Mechanical Superintendent is to lead with knowledge and manage field employees and oversee conveyor system installations. The Mechanical Superintendent will supervise all Mechanical installations and all on-site Mechanical craftsmen.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the Mechanical installations of conveyor systems, managing crews, quality and production of work.
Implement and enforce safety program to ensure an injury free site.
Ensure company assets (tools etc.) are safe and secure.
Make adaptations in the field based on ever changing conditions.
Coordinate and communicate with the Engineering, Project Management, and Field Operations Departments (and others) to better align install.
Communicate effectively with site scheduler to ensure project schedule is updated with any delays or other changes.
Ability to create and maintain positive and cordial working relationships with coworkers and owners/representatives at all levels and project capacities.
Complete any required paperwork in a timely and accurate fashion.
Maintain flexibility and strive to complete all other requests as directed by upper management.
Complete all Daily and Weekly Report activities as required and submit in a timely fashion.
Ability to coordinate site activities with other contractors to ensure a seamless installation process.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing 30+ man crews as Mechanical Superintendent on conveyor Instillation projects.
• Ability to lead and direct multi-tier and trade installation teams consisting of one hundred plus employees.
• Knowledge on PLC Mechanical installations
• Experience with QC/QA Inspections
• Able to pass required background checks & Drug Testing
• MSHA Part 48 Certification Preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.

Pay & Benefits
• Hourly: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour
• Weekly Per Diem ($120.00 Day/7Days)
• $800.00 Truck Allowance
