SUMMARY
Responsible for performing maintenance and repair activities on all types of equipment manufactured by the company. Provide customer support and technical support by telephone. Diagnose, service, and repair various systems found on equipment such as blowers, water pumps, PTO, drivelines, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic. Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment systems. Perform routine maintenance checks and adjustments on such things as fluid levels, hoses, belts, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Technical – General
Able to do repetitive work and effectively use hand tools.
Ability to use welding equipment, mechanical tools, diagnostic equipment.
Performs maintenance and repairs to equipment.
Through hands-on experience and course work, acts as the content expert on projects.
Demonstrates advanced mechanical aptitude and reasons through mechanical problems in a logical manner.
Plans, leads and executes projects in a manner ensuring safety and efficient time management.
Reports job progress as required internally, with proper documentation.
Provides feedback to management regarding process improvement opportunities.
Able to anticipate and foresee issues with equipment and schematics prior to the start of projects and take appropriate corrective action.
Demonstrates self-motivation, self-discipline and attention to detail.
Ability to read manuals and schematics.
Ability to utilize a computer to enter repair information in the CRM program.
Technical – Job-Specific

Diagnose, service, and repair various systems found on equipment such as blowers, water pumps, PTO, driveline, pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic.
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with Equipment systems.
Understands customer requirements and makes appropriate recommendations.
Performs routine maintenance checks and adjustments on such things as fluid levels, hoses, belts, etc.
Provides instruction and training to customers and dealers on proper operating and maintenance techniques.
Travels to customer jobsites for training and repairs.
Effective verbal and written communication with customers and dealers.
Communications
Reads and comprehends instructions and correspondence; asks appropriate questions and performs the instructed task.
Effectively and respectfully communicates with supervisor and coworkers in verbal and written formats.
Effectively presents information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Coordinates all communications between floor supervisors and management; demonstrates effective verbal communication skills.
Influences and encourages a free flow of information between employees and management.
Effectively teaches technical and nontechnical aspects of jobs to employees with various levels of experience.
Acts as a role model in the communications with employees and management.
Holds ultimate accountability for communications within their work cell.
Documentation
Completes and submits daily labor tickets as required.
Completes all required documentation in a coherent, legible and timely manner.
Leadership
Acts in a respectful manner to clients, coworkers and supervisors.
Demonstrates a desire to progress in the company by taking initiative and assuming additional responsibilities.
Travels as required.
Demonstrates dependability through an excellent attendance record and timeliness; works overtime as needed or required.

Troubleshoots production issues to reduce downtime and improve safety.

Demonstrates consistent awareness for safety and risk issues.
Demonstrates an understanding of industry practices and applicable regulations.
Performs daily inspections of work cell and documents and resolves safety issues immediately.
Orients new employees to job safety and risk management.
Enforces safety rules and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent and;
Experience with hydraulics, electrical, mechanical assembly of larger equipment is needed; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Vacuum trucks experience a plus.
Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations
CDL B with tank endorsement preferred.
Language Skills
Read, compose and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and technical documents and drawings
Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Mathematical Skills
Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Compute rate, ratio and percentages as well as draw and interpret bar graphs
Reasoning Abilities
Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Performance of this job requires the employee to:
