Actalent is seeking an Electrical Construction Manager with experience working on High Voltage construction projects.

Project – Client has a Distribution Switchyard at their Southport, NC facility. The relay’s and underground distribution are very outdated… They are looking to test the power each of the distribution relays has and transformer boxes and determine what they need to do to keep it running sufficienty and what their long term plan is for replacement and ensuring they don’t have black outs for the facility due to storms… Plan of good/better/best.

This person will be supporting the onsite Engineer, looking at equipment, working to oversee onsite vendors.

Electrical Construction Manager
- Electrical Engineering or Reliability Engineering a +
- 10-15 years experience
- High Voltage experience required
- Doble Testing experience a +
- Hi Pod Testing
- Experience with High Voltage – Vaults – Safety – Splicing Wires – Relays!
- Experience with 34.5 KV = must
- Oversee contractors
- Understand work, give recommendations

Location: Southport, NC
Duration = at least 6 months but could see this going longer

Pay = Wide Open… this is a very desperate need to get fixed so plant doesn’t go down.
Per Diem = YEs: Max GSA rate
