Mole Master Services Corp. Field Technician
This is a 100% travel position with travel from 3 to 5 weeks continuous. All travel and accommodations are company paid with a great per diem rate. Applicants are required to have a valid driver's' license and a clean driving record as well as a solid work history. SUMMARY
To safely and efficiently clean bulk storage vessels and other industrial areas at customer sites and follow all safety, customer and company policies and procedures.
Communication
�Actively participates in on-the-job training as demonstrated by asking appropriate questions and successfully performing tasks.
�Effectively and respectfully communicates with supervisor and coworkers in verbal format.
�Reads and comprehends instructions and correspondence; asks appropriate questions and performs the instructed task.
Documentation
�Completes all required documentation, including DOT logbooks and expense reports, in a coherent, legible and timely manner.
Production
�Able to perform manual labor 12 hours a day, up to seven days a week, in safety-sensitive environments such as high places or confined spaces, and in variable weather conditions.
�Capable of working independently and with others.
�Conscientious about work quality and work area neatness.
�Manages own time to ensure he/she remains productive.
Safety and Risk Management
�Accepts accountability for own conduct and obligations.
�Demonstrates an appropriate concern for safety and risk management.
�Reports equipment issues, safety hazards or related concerns to appropriate staff.
�Uses appropriate safety and personal protection equipment; follows safety instructions and protocols.
�Air monitoring certification required.
�Confined space certification (entrant, attendant) required.
�DOT certification required.
�Drug free certification required.
�Respiratory fitness test certification required.
Technical � Job-Specific
�Demonstrates basic hydraulic and pneumatic skills, e.g., can identify valves, motors and types of hoses, and understands all safety procedures.
�Demonstrates proficiency in the use and proper maintenance of equipment.
�Demonstrates proficiency with JR360, Arch Master, Big Mole, Vac Truck, Air Compressors, Hydraulics, hydro-blasting and other project-specific equipment as required.
�Maintains two-way communication with ground-based supervisor as project dictates.
�MSHA 5000-23 certification required.
�Obtains materials from trailer, suppliers, etc. needed for crew and project.
�Satisfactorily passes combination vehicle road test.
�Shadows experienced crew and effectively learns Mole�Master equipment and processes.
�Tears down, cleans and replaces equipment in trailer upon completion of project.
�Walks belt lines; climbs ladders, catwalks and scaffolds; works in congested areas and confined spaces; rotates and moves equipment.
