Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Program Manager (Contractor and Performance Assurance) opportunity in Richland, WA to support CPCCo at the Hanford Site.

Program Manager (for Performance Assurance and Contractor Assurance Program)

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Perform C&PA functions, implementing the CPCCo Contractor Assurance System consistent with the CPCCo Assurance System Description (CPCC-MP-MS-29238), and utilizing Hanford site-wide Integrated Contractor Assurance System (iCAS) tools as applicable. Typically, the CPCCo enterprise generates approximately 3000-4000 issues annually in the iCAS system, performs 50-65 causal analyses (root cause or apparent/common cause), and produces between 40 and 60 occurrence reports (some of which require additional NTS reporting). These activities are generally monitored and supported by C&PA staff at various points in the process.

The scope of work is a combination of routine programmatic and field support generally performed on a full-time basis with the additional ability to perform tasks for sporadic needs (i.e., a surge in event response or event investigation).

These functions include, but are not limited to, various elements of issues management including assessment planning and tracking, corrective action development, regulatory reporting, tracking, and verification, issues screening and trending, database administration and reporting, production and maintenance of Key Performance Indicators and department level indicators, leading of event investigations and causal analysis, and management of project performance dashboards.
This scope also includes, under CPCCo oversight, monitoring and reporting of Contractor Assurance System program compliance and effectiveness, identification and implementation of appropriate training requirements, compilation and distribution of lessons learned to OPEXShare and other external sites as applicable, supporting reporting into the NTS and PAAA system, and direct support of data requests from DNFSB and other external regulatory agencies.

Program Manager Tasks:
Provide coordination, communication, and interface between the Contractor�s resources supporting this scope and the CPCCo C&PA Program Manager. The Program Manager is to hold regularly scheduled meetings to share DOE, company, and Project details.
Monitor, oversee, provide direction, and assign critical Project work activities to the Contractor resources, which are approved by the CPCCo C&PA Program Manager.
Review the areas of focus and provide status on those areas to the CPCCo C&PA Program Manager so that progress and project status can be determined.
Collaborate with the CPCCo C&PA Program Manager to determine the focus areas for the Contractor resources as needed to assess specific areas of focus.
Work closely with the CPCCo C&PA Program Manager to ensure continued C&PA Program effectiveness and growth.

Program Manager Qualifications:
Bachelor�s degree. Buyer accepts education equivalency of two years of experience for one year of education.
Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience with similar programs in a highly regulated work environment such as commercial nuclear, DOE, or DOD.
Minimum of five (5) years demonstrated managerial experience leading contractor assurance or related functions for the Department of Energy including management of critical operational issues, event investigation, development and monitoring of corrective action plans, and interfacing with a diverse range of customers and regulatory agencies.

Site Conditions and Known Hazards
Most work will be performed in administrative in nature in office buildings.
Some work may be performed in the field at nuclear facilities and/or construction sites.

COMPENSATION:
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and may range between $120K to $280K.
