360 is hiring for experienced shipyard structural stick welders that are able to pass a weld test. This position is responsible for welding equipment, parts, interiors and exteriors of ships, and shipyard buildings at our facility.

Weld Tests that will need to be passed:

Type of weld: 6011 and 7018 Stick on carbon steel plate. Welders will take a Vertical Up (3G) & Overhead (4G) fillet weld test. They will also do a horizontal lap weld test.

Must be able to pass a visual inspection of the welds and will be evaluated on the following -
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

1. Working knowledge of the welding machine (setting up the machine).
2. Familiarity with the welding rods (1/8" - 1/4" 6011 & 7018 rod)
3. Positions (3G & 4G)
4. Safety practices during welding

This is long term work working 60 hours a week with per diem.

Pay is based upon weld test results.
