NSC Skilled Trades is seeking 2 Pipefitters and 2 Stick Pipe Welders for a 6–8-week contract in Olathe, KS.
JOB DETAILS:
PAY: $32/hr PER-DIEM: $100/day worked STARTS: Wednesday 7/24 DURATION: 6-8 weeks HOURS: 40-46/week TIME: 6:00AM – 4:30 or 6:30PM
**Schedule is unique. Please see below. Will work 8 days on and 6 days off for the duration of the contract.**
Example:
7/24-7/27 Wed – Fri, 6a-6:30p, 12hr Saturday, 6a-4:30p, 10hr 40hr ST 6hr OT 7/28-7/31 Sun, 6a-2:30p, 8hr Mon – Wed, 6a-6:30p, 12hr 40hr ST 4hr OT OFF 8/1-8/6 starting again Wednesday 8/7
REQUIREMENTS:
Fitters will be fitting carbon pipe for welders. Must pass written pipefitter test.
Stick Pipe Welders welding carbon pipe. 6010 root, 7018 fill and cap.
WELD TEST:6G 2’ weld test on schedule 80 carbon pipe. Test will be sent and bent but can start welding after passing a visual test.
