Sr. Planner / Scheduler
Industry: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Construction
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Travel: Remote possible with 25% travel to site
Per Diem: Offered to candidates who live outside of a 60-mile radius of the project.

Job Description:
• Manage the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.
• Support the long-term success of Planning performance for specified engines/sectors/hubs and the overall contribution to the broader company goals.
• Support the Planning function in ensuring projects and tenders are effectively planned, scheduled, and monitored.
• Effectively work with Stakeholders, Clients, Contractors, and Subcontractors daily.
• Implement Project Planning & Scheduling strategy per the client's plans and procedures.
• Create and analyze master schedules using Primavera P6 for mega projects.
• Create a Level 5 commissioning, validation, and qualification schedule for the client.
• Perform probabilistic analysis on integrated schedules and contractor schedules.
• Prepare and update progress reports as required by the client, including the Integrated Planning/Scheduling contribution to the monthly project report and specific reports/presentations.
• Ensure that schedule-related data from actual project vendors, suppliers, engineering, and construction contractors is provided as feedback into the planning and scheduling systems.
• Actively monitor and communicate any project issues that could delay the schedule.
• Conduct the required project schedule analysis, critical path analysis, and schedule risk analysis for the project as a whole, analyze deviations from the baseline in the project master schedule, highlighting bottlenecks/delays, propose corrective actions, and highlight the overall schedule impact of any variance/change order.
• Working closely with various disciplines in project teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the schedules produced without compromising your independence as a scheduler so you can advise project management on issues requiring judgment.

Requirements/Experience:
• 10+ years of Scheduling experience in the construction industry.
• A degree in construction, engineering, or related field, or have demonstrated equivalent and related experience.
• Experience effectively managing integrated team(s) on large complex and multi-phase life science and industrial manufacturing capital programs.
• Knowledge of multiple project delivery methods, including alternative project delivery (design-build and construction manager at risk).
• Experience in a planning and scheduling position for engineering, procurement, and construction projects is essential.
• Large construction experience in life sciences and/or manufacturing, including commissioning and validation activities, is desirable.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and construction contracting.
• Ability to review and understand engineering, procurement, and construction schedule logic.
• Demonstrated capital program leadership experience.
• Skilled in Primavera (P6) to:
o Create master schedules with critical milestones.
o Create detailed commissioning, validation, and qualification schedules.
o Create Resource-loaded schedules and effectively produce management overview of over- and underutilization.
o Produce high-level, 1-, 3-, and 6-month look-ahead reports.
o Identify trending movement to key float paths and baselines.
