Job Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Form Carpenter or Rod Buster and be a part of exciting concrete projects in Dayton, OH. We are seeking skilled individuals who can excel in forming and finishing concrete structures.
Responsibilities:
Form Carpenters:
Construct, assemble, and dismantle wooden and metal forms for concrete structures.
Measure and cut materials to precise specifications.
Ensure forms are properly aligned and braced.
Assist with pouring and finishing concrete.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Rod Busters:
Fabricate, place, and tie reinforcing steel (rebar) according to blueprints and project specifications.
Work with hand and power tools to cut and shape rebar.
Install and secure rebar to ensure structural integrity.
Collaborate with the form carpenters and concrete finishers to achieve project goals.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in concrete forming and finishing (for Form Carpenters) or rebar installation (for Rod Busters) is required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
Proficiency with hand and power tools used in concrete work.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Reliable transportation to the job site in Dayton, OH
