Job Description
This leadership position brings value by providing direct management of construction projects. This includes dealing with building issues, purchasing materials, creating & following schedules, and careful monitoring of, and reporting on financial issues related to projects. Ultimately Project Managers will deliver projects in accordance with established company policies and procedures. Project Managers are accountable for project success on all projects they manage.
Job Duties:
Project planning and implementation.
Allocate project resources.
Create a project schedule and timeline.
Coordinate with cross-disciplined team members to ensure everyone is on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
Meet with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
Develop scopes of work, schedules, and site-specific safety plans.
Provide technical know-how and leadership.
Communicate directly with clients, designers, subcontractors, and vendors.
Work closely with quality assurance resources to create test plans and ensure proper issue resolution.
Qualifications:
Proficient in reading and understanding architectural, civil, structural, piping, and Mechanical diagrams.
Fundamental understanding of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, Adobe/Bluebeam, Teams, and Primavera P6. BIM software experience is a plus.
Effective written and oral communications.
Ability to work a full-time schedule.
Available for local and domestic travel.
Demonstrated ability in drafting/CAD, computer skills estimating/pricing, and project management.
Experience developing construction project schedules and trackers.
An understanding of the theories and practices of scheduling.
Education:
High school degree or equivalent required.
Bachelor�s degree in electrical, mechanical, or drafting (AutoCad) preferred, or equivalent field experience. (Preferred)
Compensation:
Salaried position, stating $85,000 +
