Job Title: Mechanical Superintendent
Location: Detroit, Michigan
Salary: around $150,000 plus per diem and monthly vehicle allowance!
Duration: Contract – 6-12 months or longer
Position Description
As a Mechanical HVAC Piping Superintendent, you will oversee the installation of all mechanical equipment and provide updates to the project team and ensure timely completion of the build while maintaining high-quality standards, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
• You should have at least 5-10 years of experience managing crews and running multimillion-dollar construction projects.
• An active Mechanical (HVAC) or Plumbing license is preferred but not required
• Code Knowledge: Proficient knowledge of the International Mechanical Code (IMC), International Plumbing Code (IPC), International Building Code (IBC), and local codes.
• HVAC Systems: Experience with hydronic piping systems, chiller, boiler, and water source heat pump refrigeration systems.
• Plumbing and Air Distribution: Knowledge of managing plumbing systems and/or HVAC air distribution systems is a plus.
• Construction Technology: Familiarity with construction project management tools and technology applications.
