Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Procedure Writer Support opportunity for our customer in Richland, WA to support the Hanford Site.

Work Location: Work shall be conducted at the Department of Energy government offices, The Hanford Site, and Richland, WA.

SCOPE OF WORK
The Department of Energy (DOE) Hanford Site requires general support services for the Assistant Manager for Safety and Environment to provide support in the following areas:

Assist in the development of procedure system products, to include drafting, editing, revising, and comment resolution.
Review new and existing procedures to determine whether they are executable.
Interface with RL and ORP Management System Champions, Stewards, functional Points of Contact, managers, and subject matter experts.
Assist in the development of system reports.
Provide briefings related to procedure development activities.
Provide recommendations for improving RL and ORP�s management system procedures and products.
Provide support to DOE continuous improvement efforts.

Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. The Contractor shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner. The Contractor employee shall submit a weekly report to the technical monitor addressing work accomplished, and deliverable progress.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Contractor personnel shall possess the following minimum qualifications:
Bachelor�s degree in a relevant field.
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of business/technical writing.
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing administrative and technical procedures.
Ability to work in a collaborative manner with diverse technical subject matter experts.
Excellent communications skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Project, Visio, and Power Point.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Working level knowledge of Hanford Site mission, activities, and priorities.
Working level knowledge of DOE Hanford processes and procedures.
Familiarity with the DOE Hanford Procedures System (DPMS) or equivalent.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Compliance with site specific safety and security requirements, including badging and office protocols.
U.S. Citizenship

Hanford General Education Training (HGET)

Compensation
Salary is commensurate with education and experience and may range between $90,000 to $150,000 annually.
