Our client is currently seeking a Transmission & Distribution Superintendent for an 8-month contract opportunity.
Candidates must be willing to travel to job sites in one or more of the following locations: Texas, Alabama, South Carolina, or Oregon. Per Diem is provided.
Overview:
The Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Superintendent will oversee field operations on assigned projects, ensuring safe, timely, and profitable completion. Emphasizing T-Line and Substation experience, the role involves planning, organizing, and supervising construction activities, maintaining job progress, and fostering client and subcontractor relationships.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise specific portions of construction work, including high voltage transmission lines, substation equipment, and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities, ensuring contractual compliance and efficient project execution.
• Develop and implement project procedures, standards, and documentation in collaboration with project management.
• Ensure overall project safety, reviewing safety documentation and completing daily field reports.
• Assess future work activities, identify concerns, and develop necessary corrective actions.
• Manage subcontractors, verify material deliveries, and coordinate equipment setting and alignment.
• Oversee craft supervision, staffing, and project site material management.
• Read, interpret, and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned, complying with all company policies and standards.
Requirements:

• High School diploma is required, Associates or Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of construction management experience or craft supervision experience on T&D projects.
• Strong communication, leadership, and safety skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must pass pre-employment screening, including the company's driving requirements.
Pay range $50-70/hour plus per diem
