Type- contract
Duration- 1 year plus
100% ONSITE
Location- Cape Canaveral, FL
Pay- $73 hr plus per diem

Job Summary:
In this role, you will lead design, development, modification, and evaluation of electrical components and processes. Your recommendations will resolve technical issues and ensure uniquely complex requirements of a project�s electrical engineering aspects are met.

Major Responsibilities:
Level 1
� Evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering methods, techniques, procedures and criteria, using independent judgment with limited oversight.
� Performs electrical engineering design, including the development of higher tier documentation, as well as schematics, connection diagrams, load lists, etc.
� Leads multi-disciplinary design teams on projects of moderate complexity.
� Develops material requisitions and specifications for non-standard cable assemblies and provided engineering support to cable manufacture for project requirements and quantities.
� Properly interprets and applies codes & standards and customer design requirements, for the preparation of specifications, material requisitions and system descriptions related to design tasks..
� Provide guidance on engineering methods, techniques, procedures and criteria to expand the skillsets of peers
� Participates in and fosters a work environment that is based upon openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction.
� Ensures electrical systems designs comply with all applicable installation codes, regulations and standards.
Level 2
� When delegated, provides guidance to other electrical engineering personnel for specific tasks or projects
� Completes electrical documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance
� Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliabilit
Education and Experience Requirements:
Level 1
� Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
Level 2
� Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
� Proficient experience in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
� Experience in connectorized cable design and fabrication
� Experience in selecting electrical and physical components for control panel design
� Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics and electrical equipment layouts.
� Strong understanding of engineering discipline drawings and system calculations such as short circuit and load-flow.
� Ability to size equipment and perform cable sizing calculations.
� Strong knowledge & application of NEC code and ANSI/IEEE Standards.
Experience with ETAP and other industry wide electrical system design tools, such as CAD 2D, and electronic Cable Management System.
� Must be able to effectively communicate, and work well with others and within a team.
� Must be able to collaborate well with other disciplines.
� Ability to cope with conflicting deadlines, frequent interruptions
