Job Title: Inside Machinist � Level II (Off-Site)
Pay: $45/hr
Per Diem: $120/day

Job Description: Manufacture, repair, and overhaul various types of components associated with submarine and surface ships. Set-up and operate all types of machining tools, lathes, mills, saws, etc.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a inside shop machinist
Proficient with Numerical Controlled Processes, Manual Data Input, Tooling Offsets, Conversation Controllers, etc.
Operate machines such as: lathes, mills, horizontal & vertical machining centers, EDMs, etc.
Proficient in controllers such as: Fanuc, Siemens, Acramatic, Cincinnati-Milacron, etc
Proficient in the use of measuring instruments
Proficient with threading and the various measuring/gauging requirements Drilling/tapping processes
Familiar with carbide machining processes
Ability to comprehend complex mechanical drawings and blueprints
Strong math skills
Machinist or Tool & Die Apprenticeship
Safety oriented
