Position: Ultrasonic Testing Inspector II

Pay: $36.00/Hour
Per diem: $120.00 for each day at least 8 hours are worked
**MUST be a USA citizen or naturalized citizen
**MUST be able to pass a 90-day drug test
**MUST be able to pass a 10-year background check

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and thorough Ultrasonic Testing Inspector II. This individual will be assigned to a shop environment performing UT inspections on structural welds. There will be some climbing, crawling required. Upon beginning work, this individual will need to study and pass written general theory, procedure specific, and practical examinations. This individual must pass a visual acuity exam using Jaeger 1 letter at no less than 12 inches. Candidates must be U.S citizens. A background check and hair follicle drug test will be required.

Qualifications:
- Must have 5 years of current experience
- Must be previously certified to perform volumetric butt, corner, and tee weld UT inspection in accordance with NAVSEA T9074-AS-GIB-010/271.
- Must provide documented qualification/certification to the Level II requirements of ASNT SNT-TC-1A, 2001 Edition or later.
- Must provide documentation for current and preceding 3-year certification period containing training and experience records, results of all exams and vision tests.
- Must have performed inspection in the applicable methods within the last 9 months.

Expected hours:
6 AM to 2:30 PM EST M-F, 5 AM to 1:30 PM EST Sat-Sun, and up to 12 hours each day optional based on individual supervisor discretion.
