Position: Radiography Testing Inspector II
Location: Newport News Shipyard, VA
Job Length: 2 Years
Pay: $36.00/Hour
Per diem: $120.00 for each day at least 8 hours are worked
**MUST be able to pass a 90-day drug test
**MUST be able to pass a 10-year background check
**MUST be a USA citizen or naturalized citizen.

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and thorough Radiography Testing Inspector II. This individual will be conducting inspections using X-Ray and Gamma radiography. Upon beginning work, this individual will need to study and pass written general theory, procedure specific, and practical examinations for RT inspection piping, casting, and/or structure welds. This individual must pass a visual acuity exam using Jaeger 1 letter at distance of no less than 12 inches. Candidates must be U.S citizens. A background check and hair follicle drug test will be required.

Qualifications:
- Must have 5 years of current experience.
- Must provide documentation of certification of IRRSP from an approved entity (within last 3 years)
-Must provide documentation for current and preceding 3-year certification period containing training and experience records, results of all exams and vision tests.
-Must have performed inspection in the applicable methods within the last 9 months.

Expected hours:
6 AM to 2:30 PM EST M-F, 5 AM to 1:30 PM EST Sat-Sun, and up to 12 hours each day optional based on individual supervisor discretion.
