[Instrumentation Engineer] I&C Engineer - SRS - Aiken, SC - 8799

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for an I&C Engineer opportunity to support the Savannah River Site.

Work Location: Aiken, SC

Application Deadline: 10/30/24 (by 5pm ET)

I & C Engineer-

Duties:
Provide engineering support services to include engineering analysis, walk-downs, design development and generation of design output documents including but not limited to: P&IDs; Control Logistics; Loop Diagrams; Instrument Indices; Setpoint Lists; Instrument and Control Valve Specifications; DCS and PLC Design; Instrument Location and Installation Design; Panel Layouts; and Vendor Document Review.

Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in one of the following disciplines: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, I & C Engineering OR current registration as a Professional Engineer in one of the above disciplines.

Experience/Skills:
Five (5) years design experience in the nuclear or process chemical industry.
Must demonstrate design experience with PLCs and distributed control systems.
Must have the ability to walk-down systems in the field.

Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in 2D MicroStation Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD).

Other Job Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen
May require travel off-site to interface with vendors, fabricators and other Engineering organizations.
