System One is searching for a Pipe Stress Engineer, for a direct opportunity onsite with our client based out of Naperville, IL. This role is in support of nuclear projects contributing to design modifications to existing power generation facilities and plant systems, nuclear industry experience is required. This opening supports a remote, or hybrid work model. With preference for local candidates to Naperville, IL or Atlanta, GA, open to a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities:
*Design and analysis of changes to existing power plants, as well as new plant systems.
*Perform calculations, develop isometrics, and provide design recommendations, specifications, and design change packages.
*Provide technical support for field execution, inducing outage/turnaround projects.
Assist in constructability planning, proposal, and estimate development.

Qualifications:
*BS in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from ABET accredited university required.
*Minimum of 5 years piping/mechanical design experience with focus on pipe stress analysis projects in nuclear facilities, oil & gas, or similar systems.
*Knowledge of ME101, AutoPIPE, SuperPipe, AutoCAD, PIPESTRESS.
*Experience with IP-ENG-0001, Class 1 piping, ASME Sections III/VIII.
