Senior Process / Mechanical Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Conduct construction document reviews as required
Plan, organize, and coordinate process/mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined
team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of
engineering projects including project startup
Prepare and review calculations and specifications relating to P&ID development
Demonstrate design experience in areas such as, but not limited to mechanical systems and
equipment design
Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations, and specifications.
Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required
Basic Job Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years
experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction
document preparation, and related phases of engineering.
Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State,
and Local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.
Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.
