Training Support Specialists - Richland, WA
Work Location: On-site - Richland, WA | Hanford Site (Fermi Building)
Pay Rate / Range: $40-55/hr non-exempt

Position Details:
Under general supervision, analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate project training using the client's systematic approach to training.

Develop training materials such as Job-task lists, On-the-Job Training qualification cards, Qualification Standards, Classroom training materials and knowledge tests.

Ensure that work activities to develop and revise training materials and procedures comply with the client's standards, processes, and procedures.

Work with functional managers, technical authorities, subject matter experts, and field workers to ensure procedures are written in a manner commensurate with the training, qualification, and experience of the workers.

Development and modification of projects training option sets, staff's training plans, etc.

Development of training status reports.

Provide support to the Procedures organization on an as-needed basis, to include:

Develop procedures including drafting, editing, and revising and performing comment resolution.

Perform equipment walk downs to verify field conditions.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with 5 or more years of training experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.

Will consider 8 years of directly related experience in lieu of a BA/BS degree.

Desired Qualifications/Experience:

Experience with the Job Hazard Analysis process.

Knowledge and understanding of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT). Knowledge of regulatory requirements for training and facility operations.

Capable of developing and delivering operational, maintenance, or other technical training related to operation of pumps, valves, ventilation systems, waste transfer systems, chemical systems, radiological controls, Lockout/Tagout process, conduct of operations, and documented safety analysis.
