Purpose:
The Mechanical Superintendent oversees the successful execution of projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes and timely completion. They provide leadership and direction to field foremen and technicians to maintain project excellence and meet organizational objectives.

Responsibilities:
-Assist with project quoting processes.
-Ensure projects adhere to ASBECO standards.
-Oversee the installation of conveyors and detailing processes.
-Ensure completion of the necessary documentation.
-Manage multiple projects concurrently, preferably across different regions.
-Supervise project spending and budgetary management.
-Mentor and develop future leaders within the team.
-Manage large work crews, maintaining productivity, safety, and morale.
-Select appropriate subcontractors and contractors.
-Conduct staff evaluations as needed.
-Demonstrate leadership both independently and as part of a team.
-Perform additional assigned duties as required.

Education, License, and Experience:
-Some college education preferred.
-Minimum 8 years of supervisory experience in mechanical installation for material handling systems.
-Willingness to travel 100% and reliable transportation to job sites.
-Must be able to read drawings and schematics.
-Must be able to operate a wide variety of heavy equipment (lull, cranes, etc.).
-Ability to work effectively in a team environment, run and manage projects, and follow directions.
