[Foreman] Electrical Foreman (Material Handling)

Purpose
The Electrical Foreman oversees the installation, adjustment, repair, and maintenance of material handling systems, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to safety standards. Additionally, they provide leadership and supervision to electrical technicians, fostering a collaborative work environment to achieve project success.

Responsibilities
- Install power supply wiring and conduits such as EMT, Rigid conduit, strut, and cable trays.
- Troubleshoot electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits.
- Maintain and repair electrical systems including switch gears, motor controls, electrical panels, and conveyor systems.
- Test electrical systems for compatibility and safety using testing devices like ohmmeters and voltmeters.
- Inspect systems for hazards, defects, or code compliance and perform necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools.
- Lead installation projects according to ASBECO Job Layout Procedure and supervise crew members.
- Supervise ASBECO employees, independent contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Provide training to personnel as required and ensure compliance with work rules and customer requirements.
- Interface with customers for project updates and completion status reporting.
- Maintain safety standards through daily meetings and required reports.
- Ensure successful project completion and fulfill all documentation requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, License, and Experience
- Some college education preferred; Licensed electrician certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in electrical installation for material handling systems.
- Willingness to travel 100% and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, run projects and follow directions.
