Job Title: ENG- Consulting Engineer
Location: Tonopah AZ
Duration: 1 year contract with potential option to extend based off need and performance
Pay rate: $150-$200 per hour
Per Diem: If outside of 50 miles $840.00 per calendar week

Would like candidates to have a background in Civil Design Experience, working with Concrete, Steal Structures, underground piping, and or Rigging in the Nuclear sector.

If candidate has there IP-ENG-001 qualification, they will be looked at first.

The Consulting Engineer provides technical consultation and expertise in a specific engineering field which supports the business needs of the Business Unit. Capable of developing state-of-the-art solution(s) to complex problems, meeting challenging time schedules and supporting multi-discipline teams. Requires an extensive knowledge and application of unique problem solving techniques using analytical and numerical methodologies. Long standing membership and participation in recognized industry and/or professional organizations is expected. Must possess in-depth design, construction and operational knowledge applicable to the respective Business Unit.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: A four year Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline or related applied science discipline (see approved list) from an ABET accredited institution plus 14 years of applied electric utility generation, transmission or distribution engineering experience. OR, MS/MEng degree or PE plus 12 years of applied electric utility generation, transmission or distribution engineering experience. At least seven (7) years of accumulated experience must be directly related to the assigned Business Unit function. Relevant experience from other industries will be considered. All applicants for this position must be reviewed and approved by the Business Unit Head of Engineering. Approved Engineer degrees: Materials Science/Metallurgy, Physics, Chemistry, Math, Nuclear, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, Computer Science, Environmental, Chemical, Architectural, Structural. (A four-year bachelor of Engineering Technology degree is not considered an automatic equivalent for a B.S. degree in Engineering. A review of the degree program curriculum must be completed by the Engineering Career Path Review Board to determine equivalency level.) Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge or Qualifications: Professional Engineer licensure. Nuclear Requirement: Three (3) years of engineering experience must be in nuclear. If candidate has previously held a SRO license or certification, it can substitute for three years experience; RO license can substitute for two years experience and AO experience can substitute for one year experience
