POSITION DESCRIPTION
Conduct construction document reviews as required
Plan, organize, and coordinate process/mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project startup
Prepare and review calculations and specifications relating to P&ID development
Demonstrate design experience in areas such as, but not limited to mechanical systems and equipment design
Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations, and specifications.
Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years’ experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years’ experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.
Working knowledge of applicable federal (including Department of Energy orders), state, and local codes and standards
Significant experience providing engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services on large industrial projects
Ability to work in a diverse work environment,
Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening.
Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values.
Must be a US Citizen. ​​​​​​​
Preferred Qualifications
Professional Engineer license
Software experience such as: AFT Falthom & Arrow, HYSIM, Bluebeam, PALS, Navisworks, etc.
Code experience such as: API Section VIII, ANSI, ISA, and NFPA.
EPC project experience for the following industries:
U.S Department of Energy or other U.S. Federal Government Agency
Nuclear facilities under a nuclear quality assurance program
Manufacturing, pharmaceutical or biotechnology

LOCATION
Position will be on-site in Greenville, SC with occasional travel to Aiken, SC as needed.

Work Hours:
Ability to work 50 hour weeks is required for this role.
